Motley Crue’s Vince Neil Slams Nikki Sixx In New Book

Vince Neil of Motley Crue has a new autobiography coming out — and in it, he takes a pretty significant slam at fellow bandmate Nikki Sixx.
The new book is called Tattoos & Tequila: To Hell & Back With One of Rock’s Most Notorious Frontmen and comes out September 23rd. Unlike the band’s autobiography Dirt, this book was written soley by Neil without contributions from Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, or Mick Mars.
Some advance excerpts from the book have been posted on the Hatchett Book Group website and give a little peak at Vince Neil’s opinion of Motley Crue guitarist Nikki Sixx… suffice it to say, he doesn’t mince words. Check it out here:
“I don’t think Nikki has changed much over the years. He still likes to portray himself as the Messiah. Everything is his. Everything is his idea. I’ll look at him and think, ‘F**k! He just loves playing that persona.’ And my sentiment is: ‘I don’t really care one way or the other. If he wants to be that, fine.’ I do my job, and I f***ing have fun. But in Nikki’s world, he has to be known as the ‘thinker,’ or the ‘creator;’ He needs to be seen as Mr. All-Important. Nikki Sixx, tortured soul. Just like Tommy [Lee], he’s another one of those guys who just love the whole fame thing. He wouldn’t have been with the tattoo artist Kat Von D if she wasn’t famous. And [former 'Baywatch' actress] Donna D’Errico before her; she was a huge star at the time he married her. He just really likes to see his face in the paper. He likes the press buzz. He likes being that guy from the band with famous girlfriends.
“I mean, you should read the e-mails [Nikki] sends about MÖTLEY,” Vince continues. “He goes, ‘I’ve crunched the numbers, and we should do this…’ And I’m like, ‘What? Is he my f***ing accountant now? I mean, what the f**k?’ He makes these decisions for MÖTLEY CRÜE that I think are just stupid. I call him up and I’ll be like, ‘You’re the worst businessman in the f***ing world. You’re a f***ing idiot!’ And he’ll be like, ‘How can you say that?’ And I’ll be like, ‘Because you are a f***ing idiot.’ Just because something looks good on paper with your name on it doesn’t mean it’s going to work.”
So, does Nikki Sixx really have some sort of “Messiah complex”? Even Godsmack took a swipe at Sixx earlier this year — it was rumored that their song “Cryin’ Like A Bitch” was about Nikki Sixx.

omg vince needs to grow up and stop blaming his other band members for his bad behavior. And by writting it a book about nikki is pretty lame and childish.after all he was the one that was harrasing his ex and got in trouble with a dui not nikki.I totally think vince neal is the crappiest singer in the world and he needs aa fast before he crashes, burns.

Well, It’s obvious that Vince is riding Nikki’s coat tails. Nikki’s book is life changing and inspiring. From the exerts I’ve read of Vince’s book…..he should’ve gotten a ghost writer, and if he did, that ghost writer should have gotten a ghost writer. The flow suxx.

I won’t make a comment until I actually read the book …but my opinion is that ‘if you don’t have anything nice to say about someone , then don’t say it’ ..I mean why say it …what good will come out of it ?
