Jimi Hendrix & Aerosmith With Top 5 Misheard Lyrics

A recent British survey shows that lyrics from Jimi Hendrix, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, and Nirvana are often “misheard”.  Alot of these you, too, may have been confused about, like the line from Jimi Hendrix’ “Purple Haze” that many mistake for “Excuse me while I kiss this guy” instead of the actual lyric “Excuse me while I kiss the sky”.  One of my personal favorites on the list is the Bee Gees’ tune “Stayin Alive” — apparently many have confused the chorus “Stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive” for “Steak and a knife, steak and a knife”.  Awesome.
