Guns n’ Roses Face $108,000 Fine For Duff & Axl Reunion Show

Slash, Duff, Axl, Izzy
Fans in London were blown away recently when they got to witness a surprise “mini-Guns n’ Roses” reunion. Last week former Guns n’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan joined Axl Rose and the current incarnation of GnR on stage and performed a string of their hits. They ended up playing 3 hours past the venue’s 11pm curfew and now could face a fine of $108,000. Whew.
It was the first time in 17 years that the two former GnR bandmates had shared the same stage. The reunion performance featured Duff playing bass on “You Could Be Mine”, “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door”, and “Nice Boy”. He then returned to the stage and played tamborine on “Patience”.
So, was the $36,000 per hour fine worth it? Yeah, especially if it leads to more mini-reunions or possibly a full-on Guns n’ Roses reunion.
